Pesticide linked to crashing bee population? This article link poses yet another possible problem to the bee population. In my opinion, if we used sustainable practices (what God intended) we would see the nature growth and decay of bee populations, not massive losses.

Why to avoid exterminating bees
There is no real need to kill bees. The only reasons that float around are because of Africanized bees, and foul brood etc. Most of this is commonly accepted but ridiculous! There is no single type of bee that is going to take over the world and certain deseases can possibly be treated with natural methods, so please don't buy into the propaganda. Let Arizona Bees take your bees whatever kind they are, and keep them. Besides some exterminators can take up to a few days since the poisons that they use are not effective at killing the queen, Arizona Bees will remove them in one single night (queen and all). Why not exterminate? The answer is simple, it is not the best for you, the ecosystem or the bees. Let the bees live, and get it done quickly.
